‘Manifesto’ is my personal declaration of intent – a statement of how I want to live my life now and into the future. Equal parts visual and audio expression, this film is the culmination of my experience in lock-down and the way in which it has changed my outlook.

This project began as an attempt to document the lock-down with a strict focus on visuals, but as time went on the scope of the film narrowed to become more of a personal manifesto than a documentation of our present predicament. Meanwhile my ambition for it only increased, as I began to factor in a voice over and a soundscape. Thus the core challenge, and therefore the main learning of this task became about trying to use visuals and sound expressively to bring new meaning to the dialogue of the piece. I hope you like it!
