The megatrends in the fourth industrial revolution are grouped under physical, digital and biological. These megatrends are influenced and developed through technology. In addition, the advancement in technology has allowed these megatrends to ease our lives. It has made our lives easier by making things more efficient and fast. However, there are pros and cons that technology has impacted our lives. As we think about the future, will the fourth industrial revolution enhance or damage our well-being.
In this age where technology has advanced, it has impacted our lives both positively and negatively. I feel that as we go about thinking about our ideas in the next few weeks we should remember that as we try to create an idea that is technologically positive to us and even in the long run it will continue its positive outcome. Since the media industry works closely with technology, it may be part of the megatrend in the future. The kind of career that I hope for in the future as part of the megatrend would be a company that houses students who have just graduated with a degree related to media. The company will teach and help them improve their skills as they prepare themselves for the working world. It will be a company that pays them to learn and the things that they produce will be uploaded through social platforms or liaising with other companies that need help with filming or etc. There are a lot of things to consider when we plan our ideas such that the future is always changing and we may not know what may work then.
