We played golf after my sister back from school. Because it was autumn, the temperature difference between morning and night was great, so she wore a blue coat, but I didn’t. I was boring to be her teacher, so I decided to shoot her during this process. Shooting her is never an easy job. She is often natural in a front camera for video, but the photo is different: it is an entirely static state. She likes to do some wair face to the camera. Therefore, I had to capture during the whole process, this also brings a sense of dynamics into the shot. 

She hit the golf round and round as slow as usual. Consequently, I didn’t want to shoot that part, it would not be uninteresting. After punching the ball, she came to the green, where we practice technic that leads to the hole. Because it doesn’t require much power, she seems a relaxed bit more. In order to introduce the space to the audience, I took a full shot view so that it can contain almost all the details and content.

2 Inmage：set up the goal for her.

We set up a goal, and then she had to reach the destination from a certain distance. She’s unfortunate to get to the hole, I thought was because she did not take it seriously. After a few failures, she became annoyed, frowned and stomped. Not to me, but the camera. There were only past 10 minutes. She told me this is too hard for her, so we changed the goal from 50 scores to 40 scores. After the 30 minutes, She looked better and more concentrated on the practice. The photo with close-up shows the feeling of aiming.

3 Inmage：Aiming at the target but playing crookedly (she played the right side of the middle two balls)

As time went by, the sun almost fells down. The weather was getting colder. She looks so little under the sunset, so I took the picture behind her. It would make her taller, I thought. The balls fell scattered beside this perfect parallel line. It gives people a sense of stability facing the goal. And I am also very lucky to have this line, which can better guide my sister. When my phone focused on the golf club, I find that this club was not hers. However, she used it like it belongs to her. Twenty minutes passed by, not yet half, a bit disappointed.

4 Inmage：Pouting angry face

The face of her seemed more unhappy. Contrast to the first picture, her moon gradually turned to blue. I told her to complete the aim and then return to the car before I left, just like when I was trained before. Meanwhile, the weather was chilly and I went back to the car. 

5 Inmage：Say nothing in the car at the end of the journey

After about 10 minutes, she finally finished. She looked tired and didn’t say a word. I guess it’s about no one was there to look after her for the last 10 minutes and how slow she was. Plus, it was dinner time; she also told me she is hungry. I presented this feeling in the photo with the light hitting the lower half of the face. The drooping eyes show her closedness in the gloom. It makes people feel gloomy.

Growing up and studying is sometimes lonely, but I am responsible for her future when I am strict with her. At this time, I was not only a sister but also a teacher.
