Super Podcast Showcase #3
So here is the final showing of the collection of podcasts I listen to. The first had YouTubers gone podcasts, the second, polished public radio storytelling. And now for the final week I’m delving into the informative.
Stuff You Should Know…
The ol’ go to for informative podcasts. SYSK has been around for a long time. Hosts Josh and Chuck choose something to spill their insanely big brains over and talk about it for about half an hour. Just because these guys are doctors, don’t think that it’ll be a boring nerdy podcast, these guys are as charming and funny as anybody. If you want to start from the beginning then I’ve got bad news for you. These guys have over 600 episodes I’m pretty sure. There’s no way I’m listening to all of them. You’ll definitely learn a thing or four listening to these guys.
The Cracked Podcast…
You guys may know Cracked. Cracked is a blog site in which its articles consist of a collection of historical events, objects, places or people that were notable for their badassery or scariness. The podcast is very much the audible version of a Cracked article. Their audience definitely catered towards a Gen Y culture with current music and fresh beats playing in and out every break. If you’re interested in stuff like people who took down entire armies of men single-handedly, this is the place to be..
Nice post, hadn’t heard of the first podcast but I check up on cracked every once and a while. I’ve been in the market for a good podcast. Thanks for the advice.
