Exercise 9A ‘Irma and Steve’ is a non-dialogue script, where Irma and Steve just finished their dinner party at Irma and Esme house. We firstly analyze their emotion: because Esme is their friend and Steve’s ex and doing all these intimate acts in her house would negatively affect her, so we thought these two should feel guilty and regret having such decisions. That leads to the uneasy and disturbed feelings our actors successfully portrayed, and they are enhanced with the door shutting and the soundtrack (previously Jealous Guy by John Lennon, now 50 proof by eaJ due to copyright reason).

This exercise is a practice of color grading skill and a challenge to mix the two separated scenes together so I can tell the story of both.
