an individual or collaborative enterprise that is carefully planned to achieve a particular aim.

This simple definition of the term project, encapsulates what it is that I am envisioning when I aim to unleash my ‘self portrait’ out into the universe.

I, like most humans, am a multi-faseted individual that has a number of different variations of myself that intertwine and coexist. Of course, the main fabric (or fibre) that makes me who I am unifies these different versions, however I am unable to capture all of these sides and compound them into one portrait.

Instead, I aim to portray the sides of myself that aren’t universally acknowledged and easily recognisable to see from the immediate outside. The Patrick Hills that I aim to present is one that is normally reserved for the rare time that I have to myself, my ‘me’ time.
