Today I showed my video work in the form it is in so far – monochrome, edited with a soundtrack and focused on listing the fence. The major feedback I had from those in class was including a running commentary on the ideals of the fence, without of course, having to explain everything to the exact detail.

While I have been debilitating the idea of explaining my concept of boundaries, I do want to touch on the theory without sounding pretentious, particularly as my work already exercises a hefty amount of synth and has been edited black and white.

In the meantime this week, I’ll be writing my commentary and aiming to place it inside my work. If it works, that doesn’t matter, I just want to see how it accompanies it and get feedback on it.
