Audio

  1. I have recorded the sounds of waves crashing at my local beach to accompany the footage i have captured of driving to work as well as one of my four images (of my second home Byron Bay), i feel the swirling sounds of waves against rocks identifies best with my connection to the sea- it is raw and possesses a hypnotising rhythm which represents the way my life has revolved around the ocean
  2. I had trouble deciding on another audio tape; i have recorded my breath ( because what represents someone more than the pure sound of life ) but i have also recorded the sound of a wind chime that is hanging in my garden, i found this sound very peaceful but i also think it symbolises the way that our actions can be impacted by a greater being- the sound of the chime is initiated by the force of the wind just as sometimes our most greatest actions or presence as humans can be ignited by the power of those around us.
