Introduce your video work in relation to responding to the conceptual brief and the guidelines on form.
The main concept of the video is about ‘Space and time for contemplation beyond our everyday life’.Therefore for this week is about contemplation life. I am through the fish tank to image the sea and compare it with the current world. Perhaps the ocean (although this video is shooting at the fish tank) is just too deep, and full of mysterious and dangerous, just like the current global phenomenon—COVID-19. And the one different is the ocean is has something that can attract people, and someone will feel freedom under the sea, but other not. In order to create this sensing feel, I have designed some detail of it, such as voice and effect. COVID-19 is thought to spread mainly from person to person, mainly through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Other spread ways are still working on, and just similar to the ocean, full of unknown and dangerous. The peaceful environment of the fish tank is totally contrasting with COVID-19.
Why I am comparing those two is really important to mention the reason, one is because of the concept and other is this thing did really attract, the sound of water flow make me open my imagination and start brainstorming.
What did you learn from the authoring and publishing process?
Because of the structure of the fish tank and limitation of equipment, I cannot finish underwater shooting, therefore I can only use establishing shooting way to complete the recording. The benefit is to create a clean environment and easy to do editing. From the editing effect giving time to the audience more into the area to thinking.

This week shooting process is very simple, therefore I did not meet any things not goes well. can say is it a good thing or a bad thing, because I didn’t learn a new thing (such as technical) from the process. Next time, I could from a different and more view to shooting to make the video more interesting.
How do the affordances of Instagram affect the way video content is authored？
In my opinion, Instagram’s affordances and limitations have evolved as the time passing, which has changed nowadays practice. First, the app limited media type as only photographs, dimensions to square and posts to one photo. But now, Instagram has developed to allow the publishing of videos, dimensions to move beyond just the square and the ability to post multiple images or videos. And because of this change, Instagram gives more opportunity to the media to create and make this platform more interesting.
