This week we are madly preparing everything for the shoot next week. We are all in charge of casting the actor that we have written a script for. Today I confirmed the actress that will play Chastity. She applied to the casting call for RMIT on StarNow and I contacted her to see if she was free when we were shooting. She confirmed that she was and now the task of preparing the scripts and call sheets began.

Together we have written 45 pages of script, the episodes are listed below:

Episode 1 – Political Thriller (Baxter)
Episode 2 – Fairy Tale (Chastity)
Episode 3 – Horror (Vincent)
Episode 4 – Teen Comedy (Theodore/ Ted)
Episode 5 – Mockumentary (Jack)

Angus provided notes to all of our scripts which basically included suggestions of how we could better merge the stories together and some creative ideas. In the script I wrote for Chastity, Angus suggested that Ted rhyme all of his dialogue, which fits in perfectly with the Fairy Tale genre. We all made minor changes also to better merge the stories such as the bunny in my script was meant to be a hallucination, however upon further discussion we discovered that the bunny could actually be Vincent and Chastity only sees a bunny. This prompted us to change more than just my script, but also Ted’s and Vincent’s story to include Chastity’s hallucination. The final drafts of out scripts are on Google Drive.

Below are some snapshots of the annotated draft of the Chastity script.

Angus labelled each episode with a number so that we knew where the episode fit within the narrative.

This is Angus’s suggestion to rhyme Ted’s lines. There is also a suggestion to have Chastity sobbing and crying so match the Teen Comedy script. Angus has even provided some suggestions for Ted’s dialogue.

The below notes were made be me after we discussed the annotated drafts of the scripts. We came across the idea that Vincent was the bunny that Chastity saw in her drugged stupor. I then edited the dialogue and action in my script to reflect these changes. Trent then edited Vincent’s horror script to include one line of dialogue from Chastity.
