Unfortunately we are unable to lock in a date to shoot with Cat this semester.

Which means that this project has had to take a slight shift. My aims are still very similar, they have just slightly drifted toward a broader idea.

To define the parameters of video portraits. Learning how to make them flexible in accordance with multiple artist while paying particular focus to framing and the effect it has on perspective.

All the work I’m doing is working toward creating a portrait template for the ivy ii magazine. I will try and create a template that is flexible to move around with the artist. I will work with the artist to create a piece that is customised to their process. For this reason these multiple experiments and shoots will heighten my skill level in the area and allow me to make well thought out and on the spot decisions to cater for their needs (as done in the basic interview stile shoot taken last week).

I will work toward creating a broad template that includes classic style and abstract styles. This will lead toward an exploration and discovery of my style.
