For wk5, we did a stairway shooting practice. Each of us needs to take a role in both support team and executive team. It was a quite interesting practice cause we actually need to film the script twice, and we can see how other people did their shots. When I edited the video, there were few things that I think we kind of ignore when we were filming, and that cause some problem with the editing.

First of all, the continuity in each shots. It is not first time that I forgot to make sure the continuity. When I edited the scene, it is hard to hide the problem of the disconnection of the shot. Because my group can’t do the same shot from another angle, I can’t use another shot to replace it.

The second problem is the lighting, the light in the stairway is quite dark, and we didn’t do any white balance or gain, or use any external lighting. That affects the result in some way.
