Synopsis:

Duke Wilson’s family decided to go abroad in the year 2014, leaving behind their Australian friends, education and jobs to experience a different life. Having grown up in Winnipeg Canada, Duke’s dad (Bruce) influenced a decision, for which Dukes mum decided the family would leave the familiar state of affairs in Australia to reside in the small Canadian city for a year. As a popular student and friend for many, Duke was met with substantial changes to life as he knew it, in which he had to adjust to the latest norms including arctic weather and added attention from classmates. TWO SEASONS is a 4-minute short documentary that depicts the challenges and delights of the move to Canada for Duke while highlighting the alternate cultures across the world and how it can be difficult to adapt to a fresh start.
