Hellen Keller states in ‘A Sociology of Smell’, “Smell is a potent wizard that transports us across thousands of miles and all the years we have lived.” This is the quote we used as a foundation for our media collection. The idea of senses evoking memories, especially those that are associated with our childhood, is the basis of our collection. 

Our media collection is set up in an interview style setting with the character El as she is handed and asked to describe objects from her childhood, each object being associated with each of the five senses.
