This is the second videos and the weekly reflection of the Platform Video studio. The main concept of the video is about the way I use the camera to find space and time for contemplation during Covid-19. But there is a small story in the video, is about a spirit: vacant. Nowadays, this is a fast world where living is complicated and people are always bound by all kinds of things and lives, therefore we feel constantly under pressure, and sometimes because of those things, we are lost, argue and even fight. In Buddhist philosophy, everything will fall through in the end when idea based on such delusions and extreme position. Therefore, we should face life calmly, especially during on the Covid-19.

How did you author the video you recorded for upload to Instagram?
Because of the record experience of last week, this time is much easier. Although the filming still using iPhone Xs Max, I am bought a phone camera lens to rise up the quality of visual sense of the video, in order to too much editing. This video is the same as the last one, I did move my body to get closer to the model being filmed and using the stabilizer. personly, with a lot of good pieces of equipment for filming, not only can improve the quality of the video, but also can reduce the burden of editing work and improve work efficiency. This video filming time also near the sunset, the one reason is of the light is beautiful and suitable for shooting people and the second is because China is currently in summer, choosing other time to shoot will very hot.
For the part of the editing, I still use “clapping” to complete it, is very convenient and fast to finish the editing. This time, I was focused on video colour. In order to match the story, I am modulation video colour of more purple and red, it can give a feeling of dreaming and more match to the story felling. The second things are to match the music rhythm and lyrics, the video speed has also been adjusted appropriately, let people feel more storytelling.
How did you publish the video you recorded for upload to Instagram?
For publishing, It still through the phone to upload into Instagram and the quality is 1080p. For this time, I have chosen a nice cover picture and choose the tags to enrich the text content, such as “Antiquity”, “Chinese beautiful girl”, etc. But I forgot to upload with geotags in this video.
