Tech Team Post #3

Jordan gave his short presentation on how to apply the template to Premiere and how to export a clip using the 4096×769 resolution that was required for the visual aspect of the exhibition – he was very thorough and it’s already evident that he is putting in heaps of hours in order to get this project underway, and I’m so appreciative. I feel rather slack as I am in charge of the soundscape, but there’s not really a whole lot for me to do at the moment, due to everyone deciding to do their sound once their concept has been fully formed and filmed.

So I’ve decided to help out my classmates in a different way. I volunteered to help Dusty with her project as she needed subjects and gave her a short tutorial on how to use Premiere Pro. I then decided that it was a perfect time to begin a layout for the Logic Pro X file that I would need to create for the Soundscape – here’s a photo:

I’ve created 3 different tracks that will feed into the different groups of sound poles available around Signal. Thus, my classmates will have to provide me with 3 separate .wav files in order to create a multi-faceted audio-sphere for the exhibition.
