Class Team Work

When PB4 was announced as a team-focused exercise, a fair amount of the lecture theatre either groaned or laughed nervously. However, after this week’s practical, I can honestly say that their fears were misguided. A quick scan of the room reveals a set of content groups humming away at their assigned topic. As I have mentioned in previous posts, the art of teamwork is essential to any meaningful endeavour, and the fact that it was a requirement in this assignment was frankly music to my ears. There I said it. I am in favour. Amongst a plethora of advantages stands this one: the social circles fate placed us in at the start of the year were able to expand and interact. This activity seems to be making all of us more aware of the concept of ‘peers’. It has made us realise that  peers are more than just the people you befriended after a brief convo about sign language in O-week. So with the first stage of PB4 underway, I am very grateful that the load is shared and quite  excited to see how things turn out and
