It’s definitely worth noting that my home internet is actually down for at least another 10 days, and has been since last week. So my online use has actually been limited, in terms of where and how much high data content I download/consume. However, much just like yesterday I started my online use, by catching up on a few of the newest videos on my YouTube subscriptions. Watching new videos from channels that I am subscribed to, from video game videos, politics videos and podcasts. Then went on to recommended videos and, like most days, took a YouTube rabbit hole into videos that were suggested from there. I did all this on my phone before I got out of bed, just trying to catch up on the notifications before I started my day. It’s almost like cleaning out the notifications, or else I feel kinda cluttered with content I have to watch, if I was to wait until later. Because by then, there will be even more content to watch/listen to. While I went back a few times throughout the day checking Facebook & other media here and there, it wasn’t for long periods or that notable. The next most notable media use of the day was while I was after dinner, where I went over to Colin Moriarty’s patreon page, to check his latest post. He posted one of his ‘news blasts’, sharing political articles to read, as well as leaving his thoughts on them below. I got a chance to read the whole reading list and share some of the articles myself over twitter and messenger with friends. Which, in turn, started some online discussion between myself and a friend of mine.
