In this clip from Forbidden Lies, Anna Broinowski’s 2007 film: describe in detail all of the audio, how it may have been recorded/sourced and how you think it has been edited / layered in post. (You do not need to describe how the music was recorded)
The video starts with an old style love song with some bird’s chirping, I it is aim to lead audience to the forbidden love that cause the girl be killed. It helps to create very romantic atmosphere and shows how beautiful the love is. There is also the sound that the girl through her turban away. It is like that she escapes from the restriction from her family and her belief. And suddenly the music turns off by the sound of stopping the clip. And then another woman say it not true, then there are 2 women who against the writer, the editor make the talking very close to each other, there’s no space between each talk. I think that can create a strong contrast between the ideas that whether the murder is exit. In the last part of the video, when the woman who tries to find out the truth, the background music sounds funny, I think that a way to satire the writer about what she said is not true.
