#1 Analysis and Reflection

Q2: In 200 words or less please outline your goals, desires – what you want to get out of this semester. You will review this later in the course. Many will rethink this dramatically by the end of the course – this is a good thing.

For this semester, I want to gain my knowledge about documentary, improving my editing and camera skill during film-making. I always interesting in documentary, cause most of them are quit non-fiction,  even though people can still use editing to make it in the way they want. Compare with fiction film, documentary is more natural and real, and it brings up some questions in our life. So i want to know more about documentary and how to make a documentary, what is the differences between making fiction and non-fiction film. On the other hand, I really want to improve my editing skill, not just knowing about how to edit but also learning to using different editing software.

Q5: Listen to the audio you recorded in Tute #1.  Here. Write a paragraph or two about your recording from a technical and/or “poetic” perspective.

Consider:What these sounds evoke for you.  What associations they have. Do any of your recordings suggest images?  What might they be?  Do any of your recordings suggest the possibility of other recordings?

I can’t find the file that Aki and i recorded so I listen to the audio that Jessie and Maree recorded. There are few of them remind me the rest space of Building 8, there are people talking everywhere. Some of them make me feel like people are moving something very heavy. Some of the audio sound like footstep and people clapping their hands.
