Organising Cast Members

Using uni students in my film means I have to cater for their timetables as well as mine. It makes it hard to get all the right people in the same place at once which has left my film dates right at the end of the semester. This is something I would’ve liked to avoid but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be. Now I have booked all my equipment and a full day in the edit suites to get everything I can done from the 23rd to the 26th of October. In the time before then I plan on collecting all the necessary costumes and solidifying all the locations and people involved to ensure that absolutely nothing can go wrong and filming will take place.

I hope to get at least scenes 1-3 and the scene in the concourse completed as I think this will give people the best idea of what the film is about and will give the clearest message of where it might go. From classes I have learnt that it’s not about the end product but it’s about developing all the necessary components to be able to go ahead and film all the planned scenes. I think I am more than able, at this stage, to confidently go in and film the right scenes and get the right material to be able to edit what i’m imagining together and the only last stage is to go out and do it.
