Project Brief One Thoughts

PROJECT BRIEF ONE THOUGHTS

We are made up of our experiences; who we were will affect who we will become. To me this primarily means family and upbringing: the voice of my mother, the words she wrote in a notebook while we were growing up. This is the root of who I am and is the reason I am me.

We are made up of our environments; places with which we surround ourselves create our personalised setting. This is my bedroom and my friend’s room where I spend the majority of my time. This is where I feel comfort and security and where I hold all my material possessions. This is where I most feel that I can be myself.

We are made up of the people around us; they are those who we base our standards off, those who influence us whether by respect or resentment. My friends and my family largely determine who I am. They gratify or criticise, allowing me to adjust and develop an ever-changing identity that is durable yet soft.

We are what we love whether alive or inanimate. To me: family and friends, technology and film, solitude and silence, my dog. I like to observe. What I love defines how I will direct my time and ultimately how I will create my character.
