Lumen Prints from our Alternative Photography Lecture/Workshop:
It was really interesting to be shown a range of alternative/unconventional photographers (and their individual processes). I think the idea of homemade cameras and more experimental photography is really appealing, and now I’m way more interested in testing out some more alternative processes.
There’s definitely a different feel to this kind of photography, and I think it’s certainly fair to call it a more raw and imperfect art form. I feel like the roughness of this kind of work often produces for more engaging/interesting results thought.
