New media has opened many doors in the realm of storytelling and unique audience perspective and experiences are more effective than ever. ‘A Fragmented Journey’ is an individual user experience delivering a personalised exploration in understanding the mass ambiguity of reflections. The project visits different aspects of reflection, both physical and mental, asking what the term reflection truly means to each individual. With the use of YouTube, a site commonly known for linear storytelling and mass media communication, we were able to create something that the platform did not intend and ultimately a unique story for each person. For a better experience, we recommend watching the video in theatre mode and with headphones.
