Just a day is an interactive narrative that follows a day where choices influence particular emotions in hope to make people aware of their daily actions.

The emotions that we were focusing on originally were stressed, frustrated, excited, happy, relaxed, productive, sad and tired. Through feedback from pitches surrounding our limited time and resources, we narrowed down our focus to productivity and tiredness as they are conflicting emotions. We used color grading and audio to exaggerate and evoke the particular emotion through gradual increase in intensity throughout the narrative.

The larger planned project would include more ways to view the day and widen the understanding of awareness and how actions might influence a particular emotion on another day. The expansion of this project would move into an infinite project with an infinite amount of options and paths to choose from. The process involved mapping out the decisions, coordinating footage to grading and audio, and transferring the mapping and footage to Eko. This project was interesting and different to anything we have created. We look forward to applying listing methods to future projects.
