Pearlman, Karen. (n.d.). Cutting Rhythms: Shaping the Film Edit. Elsevier Science & Technology.

This book gives some valuable information of cutting rhythms, illustrate how it works with shaping the film edit.So it can be concluded that  the rhythm of a movie largely extent depends on the editor’s grasp, Moreover the film rhythm it can not be copied, because it has no established principles. Every plot is different, every director is different, every photographer is different.

Ken Danser descibed the rhythm as a step of point.Karel Reisz and Gavin Millar believes that the film is a sense of rhythm to grasp the point in time. The rhythm of the film is not a single thing, it is associated with the rhythmic between two shots.

In my opinion, several of the point mentioned have in common, everyone’s views are concentrated in the lens cut frequencies on this matter. In addition, it can be further expanded the theories that i believe the rhythm of the film art as a whole, it is not just the rhythm of the clip level deeper into all aspects of filmmaking them.

At Most movies, Timing and Pacing is the “rhythm of the film”. Karen Pearlman research focuses on the perspective of post-editing rhythm, but admits that the film rhythm it exists in many areas.

This could be my experiment at the brief 4 and 5. I might consider the rhythm of a film.
