This is a blog post related to Eisenstein’s book . It is a review of the chapter four which discusses dynamitic comprehension and the nature of art. The author gives his thoughts and opinions on Eisenstein’s therory, basically he is inspired by Eisenstein’s conflicting ideas of montage, and relate it to the contemporary cinema, such as zero to hero montages, ‘where the point is to embody one idea/process with multiple images as opposed to show conflict between opposing ideas’. This peer review is good to read for us who study film theory because it shares creative interpretation which expand our understanding on the theory.
