  1. This article focuses on movement in filmmaking. There are four ways to create movement: actual movement, apparent movement, induced movement, and relative movement. The article also gives the definition of simple movement and complex movement. In addition, it talks about object movement, camera movement, and point of attention. Continuum of movement is mentioned as well. There are two kinds of continuum: continuum within the shot, and continuum from shot to shot. Audience’s eyes are easily attracted by movement.
    Movement is a vital element to cutting. Almost all the cutting involve movement. Therefore, this article is useful to my research, making me understand movement and shot and cuts better.
