  1. Oliver provides a dozens ways to help people improve the quality of their editing. Such as the cutting tightly, shaping story, moving camera and tempo music, matching actions. Matching actions is the main way to keep the continuity editing. In this way, people can utilize some specific technical matching methods, for instance, matching actor’s positions, eye line and detailed gestures from one shot to next one. However, author also states those specific methods is not extremely important, even sometimes audience will feel a little discordant if there are strong mismatch in the film.
