  1. ‘Eisenstein was in many ways an extraordinarily prescient thinker’. When he implicitly suggested the use of a dominant to limit meaning, then ideology was produced in this situation. Certain ideas come to be characterized under the post structuralism had been foreseen by him a decade ahead. The difference between Eisenstein and other poststructuralist thinker is that the former was thinking of how to produce the meaning while the latter were more interested in deconstructing it. Eisenstein also tried out the natural modes of the highly conventional thoughts. That is another difference in the sense of ideology. However he didn’t notice that his own analyses prove the ideological from the way of subtle and inescapable nature.

This article states Eisenstein’s theory, findings and contribution in montage, poststructuralism and ideology. Examples are given to support the statements.

Eisenstein is again mentioned in another article. He is a very important theorist and filmmaker in montage. So I will focus on his work and paper more in order to know more about montage. Also the examples make me have a further understanding on montage.
