  1. In the chapter “The second level: shot and movement”, the author claims that through decoupage the shot it determined within a closed system. However, the contradiction lies in that the movement is not a closed process but instead of a more open dialogue. Therefore, movement is more mobile concept. Shot is the basic element to weave either a set of framing of montage. Shot, in that sense, gives the audience clues of the logic of the movement. Through the temporal perspective that each of the shot offers it makes sense of the total meaning of a part of movement in the film.
