In the chapter “The first level: frame, set or closed system”, the author points out the overriding idea that the frame is a closed system in which the frame is a geometrical context where the lines of the image is able to reach a balance and the movements can be diversified. More importantly, frame is also about the angle of framing itself as it differentiates how the story is weaved within the framing technique. Framing, in all, is the process of choosing different parts so that it becomes a set system.
