I’m a second year Media student and this studio mainly appealed to me because I love paranormal things (ghosts!) Upon undertaking the course, I realised it wasn’t about ghosts and supposed haunting but rather the rich history of the architecture that surrounds us. From this, I encountered in this course another of my favourite things: feminism. I have decided to focus on Storey Hall (building 16), specifically when it was inhabited by the Women’s Political Association – with a strong fixation on forerunner feminist, Vida Goldstein. I have decided to present this in the form of a photoessay with reenacted images of the impressive occurrences that happened in the time they were there.
