Adobe Audition Workshop

Today some of our Site Specific class were given a tutorial in Adobe Audition. I was extremely keen to learn how to use this software as it deals with sound, which is something that is so foreign but so interesting to me.

I was teamed with Dusty and Elle, and it didn’t take very long for Dusty to begin rapping. We learned about techniques to reduce the amount of background noise when recording voice and how to record your own audio files and export them into a multi-track.

We then played around with different effects such as Vocoders and delays and ended up with some pretty cool results.

After seeing Adobe Premiere and Audition in use, as well as using Adobe Illustrator and Lightroom – I’m thinking about getting the entire creative cloud.

I’m really excited to learn how to use Premiere in the workshop this next week.
