Analysis/Reflection 1 – Question 3

The reading ‘Getting An Idea’ by Robin Plunkett was interesting and I identified with the fact that she noted that the content of the story will be shaped by the medium itself: film. There are stories that are more appropriate for film than others, but any idea can sprout from any source of inspiration and can draw on any conflict or dialogue to drive the plot. The desire to tell a story sometimes does not directly translate to film, therefore other media could be more appropriate. Stories can be converted to film though, with many adaption of narratives being edited for the screen.
