You may get Stendhal Syndrome,

or be just too tired to process

the things you see before you.

But have a cup of coffee or some snacks, and

get on.

Because when the night falls,

all of these will

melt,

vanish,

in the distance,

as dreams.

No.1. Louvre. Only the number of art works in this corridor was dazzled enough for one’s eyes. It was such a shame that we only spent one afternoon in there which was weary enough. Such immense amount of collections, to me, says “strength”. Yet how to keep it thriving? It is a question. Also, it appears that you’ll never miss a crowd in front of Mona Lisa. I’m not familiar with art history, but, is it because of Mona Lisa that we take our portrait photos like that now?

No.2. Arles. The house says: time, calm, peaceful, history, home…..

No.3. A relaxed noon in Kassel. Streets are clean and people are rare. Gardens have playgrounds. Children were playing in there. We were, too. It felt as if I was nine again.

No.4. Hot Arles. Blue and purple ice cream.

No.5. Berlin. A bin. A bin with “tattoos” and stickers.

No.6. Paris, Louvre. They were exhausted. We were, too. From 9 am to 11 pm, we were outside all the time. How long the day is! And there was simply too much to see.

No.7. Kassel. Why the blue balloon? An interesting structure. An interesting window.

No.8. Centre Pompidou. Modern art. An Asian kid. There was a perfect view of Paris and of course, modern and contemporary art. The building looked so industrial.

No.9. Blurred dreams about Paris. An effort to record the night. The night when we walked to Effiel Tower.
