A peer review for week 7 mini film festival
#1. Yellow Hat:
- I love the music creating a mood while watching the video.
- It is clever to use the shot in which Piri is dancing to connect the whole movie.
- Like the start, even though it’s irrelevant to the theme.
#2. Green Hat:
I like this video and its theme. I just hope the interview shot can be framed better using rule of thirds; and is only there are more atmosphere sound will be better and more smooth.
#3. Red Hat:
The video start with a really nice found footage to introduce the theme. The music and the close-up shots really connected me to Olivia with the talking. I felt sad and melancholy. I felt that me heart is with Olivia. I support her.
#4. Black Hat:
Overall, the production is almost flawless. Two things to look out for are: First, the lighting on Asher’s face needs improvement. Second, although the video looks perfect, the creativity aspect needs more attention. I didn’t see any part which gave me a “wow.”
