Driving me crazy

I often wonder how some people procure their license. So many people on our roads undertake such reckless and dangerous techniques (or lack thereof) in driving. Whether it be speeding, lack of signalling, impatience or drink driving. Sitting in the passenger seat of my Dad’s car I grew irritated at the drivers that surrounded us as they sat in the right lane on the highway, or kept up inconsistent speeds often climbing above and below the speed limit. I began thinking about the reasoning behind their annoying actions as we sat at a constant speed using cruise control, only veering into the right lane to overtake. Was my dad simply a better driver than everyone around us? Or was there something more to it.
Was it incorrect of us to murmur ‘what a moron’ to the Green P plate driver blocking our path as they sat in the over taking lane? I’m beginning to think so. What gives us the right to judge someone’s intelligence on their inability to be alert all the time. That driver may have had all manner of things happen to her today, he/she may be exhausted and simply forgot to flick on her blinker and move back to the left side of the road after passing multiple vehicles. I realised how wrong it was to criticise a complete stranger for one little mistake they made, especially when I don’t understand the circumstances of their situation. She could simply struggle focusing on things for a long time span. She could be hyper attentive, just like me.
