Week 5 – workshop

For this week’s workshop, Brian gave us more time on our sound exercise instead of discussing the reading. He told us how to use Adobe Audition and gave us some technique on editing. Then, we had our spare time on editing the sound, and asking questions for the problems we met.

For the next part of our workshop, we were given Sony MC50 cameras to do a filming interview. In group of three, we were taking turn to be the interviewer, interviewee and the person who controlled the camera. We first took a panoramic view of part of the school and we moved to the little studio in building 9. We were interviewing each other about how we preparing for our school start and how we survive after 6 weeks of school.

I felt really awarded in front of the camera as I do not know what to talk about. However, I got my nice group mates who teach me how to adjust the camera and how to do the interviewing. Today’s workshop is truly a great experience for me. I had met new friends in class and I learned lot of things on how to interview others and being interviewed. The only problem today was that we did not have enough time so we were a bit rush on our interviewing, other than that, it was a perfect day.
