I’m Zac.

This Mediafactory blog is set up for our student works for RMIT’s Media Studios. But less about school, and more about me.

I’m 27 years old, I was late to university as I spent from 2012 to 2019 working as a chef. I love cooking, and I love media, so one day I’d like to combine both into one glorious online media format. Think Broadsheet, but for chefs rather than the experience as a diner.

I love modern video concepts, flashy, rhythmic and high quality – but also blending emotive filming and capturing the story of a subject.

To me, 30 seconds of flashy B Roll is pointless without the story behind the subject. And after working as a chef for 7 years, I can guarantee there will be a story.
