Today, we did an activity by a group. My group went to the Brouke St street to looking for the on the ground, mid-ground, up high and back ground media sources. I took some pictures and videos. I start to realised that media is everything, media is in everywhere. People use their phones in everywhere; advertising is on the walls and buildings. Two men played the guitar on the street. Media is not only for communication but also for us to understand the world better.

Video

When I have free time, I would like to do some art things by myself. This video took one year ago, during that period, I want to use the spray to create a new suitcase. I do hard for that, and the smell I still remember, it’s not that good hhhhhh. I want to do more for this art piece, like painting or trying to paste something.

After I had graduated from my High school, I did graduate travel. I went to Los Vegas and then to San Francisco, to Los Angeles and then to San Diego. This place called Monterey, I was enjoying during that time. Hope I can go there again.

I spend all most my free time just for watching Korean Drama; I am really in love with it. Hopefully, I can do something about Korean Drama in the future. 

Audio

 The Audio is one of my favourite guitar song called City of the Sky.When I hear this song, I feel peaceful. When I am doing my work, I usually listen this one. Want to share with your guys.

Drawing is one of my hobbies; I can spend 3 or more hours doing this one thing, I guess in some ways it related to the first Media class. I feel attractive when I was recording this sound.

When I have too many things to do, and I feel stressful, I usually play computer games. When I was recording the sound, I was using one device to play the game song and using the other device to make the voice.

As I said before, I when to a lot of places. This six pictures in some way show my experience. I took the high school in New York. The second one is my first art exhibition in my high school. I went to Washington DC, Yellow stone national park, San Diego and Japan.

PB1-50 words about myself

I studied in a lot of places, I went to New York to study my High school and then move to Oxford, then move back to New York. After I had graduated, I moved to Maryland to study my first foundation year. Finally, I came to Melbourne and now studied at RMIT.

Week1-Initiative idea

Relate to the hyper and deep attention, I am thinking about what always attack myself. Then, I realised the mobile devices distracts me too much. However, if I am doing something really interesting, I will just forget everything and focus on the thing that I am doing. Sometimes, I think a man’s character shape his attention. Some people were doing things usually in deep attention; some are not. So what develop our deep attention and hyper attention, I guess it not only because our passion，but also depends on our characters.

PB1-Achievement and improvement

I want to learn how to use Adobe, such as PS, AI and stuff like that. I am interesting about Production Designers; I want to know how do they work in their workplace.

On the other way, I hope we can do more group cooperation rather than individual working.:))

Week1 Tutorial class

At the beginning of the class, I introduce myself to Jessie who is also from China. She took Trinity in Melbourne before. Jessie like sports, she likes running, playing basketball. I guess because she is a kind of cool girl type??!! But anyway she is a nice person.
For myself, I’d like to watch Korean Drama during my free time; I hope I can learn the process of making dramas. Making a video with people is fascinating, I hope in Media 1 class, we can do some group work. Cooperation makes me learn fast than the individual.
In the tutorial class, we learned how to build my blog and share with people what I have. However, sometimes I feel it hard, cause I am anti-technology person :)))

week1-Hyper and Deep Attention

During Wednesday Media1 class, I read about hyper attention and deep attention article. It is a fascinating article. After I go through it, I was thinking which category that I belong to. I start to realise that if there is something I interested with, like drawing, watching comic books or even dramas(by the way, Lucifer is a great Amercian drama:)) I will just very focus on the things I like, I guess during that time, I should be in deep attention. However, if I am doing something that I am not interested with, I will probably just check my phone or listen to music when I am doing that.

 

Hence, I think there is not deep attention or hyper attention for me; I am kind of in both categories.
