The theme I chose this time is the future news broadcast in 2099, which is a creative method that combines the style of real news broadcasting with future vision. By simulating the news in 2099, I hope to present a familiar and imaginative future world to the audience. Against the background of rapid development of science and technology, future news is not only an extension of reality, but also an exploration of the possible evolution direction of human society.

During the production process, I encountered some technical challenges. First of all, how to make future news sound real and not exaggerated is a key issue. In order to maintain the seriousness of the news, I strictly followed the tone of the news broadcast to record, control the speed and tone, so that it sounds like a formal news report rather than a science fiction storySecond, using background sound effects presents a significant challenge.For instance, I changed the sound effects’ location and strength to enhance the ambiance without detracting from the essential information because the whistling wind in the Martian sandstorm report might easily drown out the announcer’s voice. Furthermore, even if the AI voice adds a feeling of the future, I could experiment with interacting with AI more to give my podcast a more lively and appealing tone for the listeners.

In the future improvement direction, I will pay more attention to controlling the rhythm of the voice, so that the audience prefers and is accustomed to listening. At the same time, while selecting background sound effects, I will avoid using too many or similar sound effects to ensure that each news part has a clear hierarchy.  In addition, in the future, I can strive to incorporate live connections or interviews to boost the interactivity of future news and make the audience feel more engaged.  This project has helped me grasp how to utilize sound to create a convincing future world.  In the future, I plan to experiment with more complex audio expressions.
