I drew this graph to show how I feel for myself in the first semester.

• Technical skills: I was relatively confident with my editing skills in comparison with my fellow classmates, as I have a-year experience with media editing. However, I have never really used Audition to make audio clips before, so in week 9 there was a big drop.
• conceptual skills: It started from zero in week 4 and raised to 5 in week 12. I am not sure what was I thinking during Week 1-3.
• Professionalism: Since I have some work experience and I am familiar with the procedures of giving and receiving feed backs, so I set my starting point in this graph at 5. However, there was a big drop when it came to group work, especially with people who doesn’t really do their jobs. Fortunately, we have managed to work that out.
• Practice: I am passion with what I am studying right now and I like to engage with all kinds of activities. So far I have been to the job shop/Career fair and joined SSCC, volunteer as a pilot user at Film Up and will be going to Nepal with Actuality Media for documentary shooting during the up coming Winter holiday. (These are the opportunities provided by RMIT.) However, PB4 gives me quite a lot of pressure, and so I wasn’t that active during that time.
