This week we discussed the broadcast/Traditional way of watching TV and the online TV. Personally I would definitely choose online TV, as there is a lot of choice and absolutely more personalised. I can watch whenever, wherever I want and I can finish a whole season of “friends” If I wanted to.

Netflix is something that I don’t use. Not because of its content that some people find it is disturbing but instead, most of it’s contents are blocked in Australia and giving me something I am not really interested. I would rather buy a VPN to watch somewhere else than paying 9-15 dollars per month watching something I am being “forced” to watch and what’s more, not to mention China, almost everything from the western is blocked there, Netflix is nothing.

I do like Netflix original programming, I like the content. When something is fictive, you really don’t want to make it that serious or suits someone’s political status or whatever. However, I’m just unwilling to pay the subscription fee monthly, that’s all.
