Media Studio timetabling information, S2 2025

Last week we announced the semester 2, 2025 Media Studios for those enrolled in Media 2 or Media 4. We have now confirmed the timetable and can provide preferencing information.

The S2 2025 studios are described in this booklet: S2-2025-studio-descriptions-booklet.

Please follow these guidelines carefully to preference studios in myTimetable:

  1. Read the studio descriptions in their entirety provided in the booklet above
  2. Check the studio times listed below and in myTimetable against your other commitments and classes, where you need to be able to attend both Prac 1 (2 hrs) and Prac 2 (3 hrs) for your studio each week (5 hours total)
  3. Based on the studio description booklet and your availability, preference at least 3 studios when the myTimetable preference entry period opens at 10am Tuesday 10 June.
  4. When entering your preferences please note:
    1. studio allocation is NOT on a first-in-first-served basis, so take your time to decide, just make sure you have all your preferences in by 5pm Sunday 22 June when the preference entry period closes
    2. as there are nearly 400 students preferencing studios there is no guarantee you will be allocated your top preferences. Be flexible, open, and prepared to bring yourself to any of the studios as they all offer exciting opportunities for you to develop your media skills conceptually and technically.
    3. if needed, you can adjust your allocated studio on myTimetable from 10am Monday 30 June to 5pm Friday 25 July (end of week 1). Please be aware studio adjustments close earlier than other courses to minimise disruption to everyone’s studio experience.
