For the fear scene exercise that the class needs to do (with a constraint of a camera is a camera), I decided to apply one of the most common tropes in the horror genre which is stalking someone which evokes awareness and fear to the person being followed. Adding spooky background music will heighten the suspense that the viewers will experience while watching the short video.

The short video will show a story of Melissa who just got home from work and enters her bedroom. She puts her things down on the bed then sits down in front of her laptop when she receives a lot of text message from her friend Karen telling her that her parents are found dead in the parking lot of shopping center. Karen said to Melissa that her obsessed ex-boyfriend did it and is warning her to go to a police station to where she will be safe. Unbeknownst to Melissa, her ex-boyfriend is hiding at her closet all this time and is just waiting for the right time to strike her. Hearing a noise behind her, Melissa opens her front camera to pretend to take a selfie, when really, she is only checking the person behind her. Recognizing who it is, she quickly stands up but he catches her and strikes making her unconscious.
