Devise a social media strategy that explains how you can engage your audience.

Our social media strategy is to create two accounts on Instagram. One is called: influencer.insight. We aim to attract the target audience’s attention by posting content related to influencer and personal branding on this account. The content of the posts may include: sharing information and data based on sensis reports, answers to our interviews with the influencer, analysis of successful influencer cases, suggestions on how to establish personal branding, and so on. The difficulty of this account is how to spread the information in an interesting and aesthetically pleasing way, ensuring that the content is exciting and readable while maintaining its credibility.

The other account is called: meowmeow_miaomiao. The original intention of establishing this account is to be personally involved as part of our social media marketing strategy. By sharing photos and videos of our group members’ pet cats on this account, we will be able to attract target audiences who like pets and cats. We found that tagging posts with features such as hashtags can attract a specific audience during the process of using Instagram. Keeping the content of the account consistent while creating content that follows the current trending topics gains attention. The challenge of this social media strategy is how to differentiate and capture the attention of our audience, given a large number of pet bloggers on Instagram with the same content and style.

By posting videos and posts in the ‘meowmeow_miaomiao’ account, we observe and study in practice whether we have chosen the right target audience. As well as gaining a more direct understanding of our followers’ responses and suggestions to make timely adjustments. At the same time, we will write and publish posts in our ‘influencer.insight’ account based on the experience we have gained in practice and the theoretical support we learned from our research. The combination of exercise and theory makes our media strategy more convincing, and we can also learn a lot of valuable experiences in the process.
