Okay. I’m officially a nerd. I worked a 9 hour shift tonight and now I’m sitting at home adding to my notes about HTML from class. On a Saturday night.
But W3Schools is so awesome for learning about coding! It makes it all so simple. It’s also pretty nice that they have the colour picker at the bottom of every page, so you can hop in whenever you need a colour number for your code.
I’ve mostly been looking at the formatting and layouts pages tonight. It’s so cool seeing how to create different content on pages just based on what I input into a code! I made this using the layouts page TextWrangler.
It’s not perfect, but it’s way more than I knew how to do a week ago. It’s funny, I’ve always been interested in languages and picked up on them fairly quickly. This is just like learning Spanish, once you know what certain words mean, others start to fall into place. It’s a really familiar feeling. I think learning this will be an awesome thing to do for my future, so I’m definitely going to keep it up. I’d love to be able to create a whole website from scratch one day. Maybe even without my notes!
