Solo Statement

Well, my initial thought was to take the daily activities of my dog as a video or photo. With Max, the viewer can select one of the different buttons and the screen will show its different activities. I also tried to change the picture, such as changing the hue of the picture (RGB).

For skills, I used the most of the skills and methods that teachers taught us in class. However, I also tried several methods that the teacher did not mention, and I tried many times. Finally, I succeeded. I hope that I can use this software better in the future. At the same time, I also hope that my work will make more people like it.

Group Statement

Life is a process of making choices. Every time we stand in a crossing street, we have to decide which direction to go. In this group project, the audience plays as a person who is constantly making choices in the Melbourne Museum. This is also a good match for the tactile interaction of this assignment topic. We shot Kimmy as the main person to choose which department to go like dinosaur hall, insect gallery and human bodies hall. When the project is presenting, it is entirely up to the audience to decide which direction to choose. In this scenario, each time a direction is chosen, the content and results of the audience are different. Our group wants to use this group project to reflect our lives. No one life path is wrong, as long as it is our own choice, there will be wonderful content waiting for ourselves.

Reflection

I remembered that the first lesson of the teacher gave us an introduction to the understanding of art. I thought it was an art-related course. When I touched Max, I found it very interesting. To be an IT man. (hahah) To be honest, this is my first time using Max, although I am very interested in it, but I still hope that I can use this software skillfully. I’m collecting a tutorial on Max from the web to see how others use it. I also tried to practice a lot on my own, although there were often problems when I practiced, but I think this is also a necessary learning process.

I am thinking about a question, whether there is interaction between my work and the audience. In this assignment, I interacted with the viewer by means of a button. Pressing the number 1 will bring up a video and the number 2 will show the second video. Although my work looks simple, it is an interactive attempt for me.

In my personal work, I used a lot of production techniques I learned in class. In the team work, in addition to using the production techniques mentioned in the class, we also browsed the online video tutorials and added some other ideas. For example, using vz.playr, we have not learned in class. I use one of the techniques that the teacher has said in class to show it in another way. That is good!!! When I finished my personal work, it was not very smooth. I have been trying to use commands that I have not used in class. However, most failed, and only a few were successfully used.
