This type of documentary does not emphasize narrative, does not pay more attention to the creation of a particular time and space, and does not emphasize coherent editing. It focuses on the creation of rhythm, the juxtaposition of different spaces, and the purpose of conveying emotion and sentiment.

Second, we discussed and watched the different types of documentaries. For example, Investigation/report, History, Testimonial, Exploration/travel writing and so on. Because of I study how to make a documentary, I watch different types of documentaries. Actually, I am not understand all the documentaries. However, I believe that if you want to make a documentary, you should obey some rules that make it true and tell a story to audiences.

Through this week classes, I know different types of documentaries, except I have ever seen. At the same time, I research some documentaries to watch them. I found out China have some amazing documentaries, such as ‘On the road’ and ‘A bite of China’. So I think life is a good material if you want to make a documentary. Because we can find any topics from our life to develop a documentary. For example, when my birthday coming soon, my mother looks some old photos for me as a child. She will surprised that I have already became an adult. It is a big change and I think documentary can show this. Recording my change in my life. It is meaningful. I want to do that.
